I am immensely proud to lead the governing body at Daventry Hill School.
I am fully committed to supporting and challenging the Headteacher, Charlotte Whysall and her staff, to provide the best education and therapeutic experience possible. The children of Daventry deserve to have provision of the kind Hill School offers them.
My background is education. I was a senior leader in a large secondary school and my knowledge of schools and learning is both broad and deep. I am an experienced governor having been a governor a local primary school for four years as well as a chair of governors at a local secondary school. The governing body at Hill School is made up of individuals who have a wide range of skills and expertise, and an important part of my role is to make sure that I maximise this so that as a governing body we work together effectively.
On a personal level I grew up and have taught in Daventry. I am happily married with three grown up children, all of whom are teachers. I spend several days a week looking after grandchildren and in addition I have a number of interests including spending time with friends, playing bridge and gardening.
The governing body are very excited about our impending move to our brand new, purpose built school. If you would like a visit or chat please contact me by email email@example.com
