DHS - Family Support Worker (Closing: 17/5/21)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Salary: Grade I: Salary: £27,041-£30,451

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

  • Annual Leave 26 days per year (to be taken during school holidays)

Hours of Work:

  • Monday: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am-5:00pm (Training)
  • Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Family Support Worker to join our team at Daventry Hill School. The main role will be to support our children and their families and reduce barriers to learning. The Family Support Worker will work alongside teaching staff and existing pastoral systems to provide an extra layer of support, focusing on the welfare of the children and their families, being a point of contact for parents in order to discuss any concerns in a less formal way, helping parents to engage in school life and support them to access local services and agencies. The position will involve building close working relationships with local agencies and other professionals.
