School Meals

From September 2025, our school meal provider will be Relish!

Relish describe themselves as a hard-working, honest and reliable bunch of talented craft professionals that love delivering great food and service. They are backed by a super-smart team of technicians that have built and maintain their kitchen management and meal pre-order support software.

The Menu

Our school menu is created in collaboration between Daventry Hill School and Relish, our trusted catering provider. Together, we ensure that meals are nutritious, varied, and meet the dietary needs of all our students.

The menu is updated each term and made available to parents and carers via the Relish Portal.

For the latest menu and to manage your child’s meal choices, please log in to the portal.

How to order

All school meal orders will be made through the Relish Parent Portal.

The cost of a school meal, for students who are not in receipt of Free School Meals, will be £3.12 per day.

Further details on how to access and use the portal will be shared with parents and carers towards the end of August. Please keep an eye on school communications for updates.

Free School Meals & Universal School Meals

Universal Free School Meals

All children in reception, year 1 and year 2 are automatically entitled to free school meals under the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

Even if your child receives Universal Infant FSM, it is recommended that you apply for Free School Meals through the local authority if you believe you meet the eligibility criteria. This could bring additional funding (Pupil Premium) to support your child.

Free School Meals

Free School Meals may be available if you receive one or more qualifying benefits.

Meeting these criteria also triggers Pupil Premium funding for the school, helping support your child’s education.

For more information on how to apply for Free School Meals, please speak to our Family Support Worker (Heather Witherington) or visit the West Northamptonshire website

Holiday Food Vouchers

If eligible for benefits-related FSM, you may receive school holiday food vouchers (e.g. £15/week) automatically or via your school. These are distributed through the Household Support Fund in West Northamptonshire.
